New Deputy Chief of Police - Scott Goess
Deputy Chief Scott Goess
Mrs. Goess holds the bible as her husband Scott was sworn in as Deputy Chief by Mayor John DeGeorge.

On January 25, 2005 the East Greenwich Township Commitee voted to approve a new position of Deputy Chief of Police, and promoted Captain Scott Goess to this position.

East Greenwich Township residents, fellow officers, and township committee members applauded and congratulated Deputy Chief Goess on his promotion.


EAST GREENWICH TOWNSHIP - January 1, 2005 
R E O R G A N I Z A T I O N  MEETING
John DeGeorge, Mayor of East Greenwich NJ
Newly selected Mayor, John DeGeorge presided over the 2005 Township Reorganization Meeting on January 1st.

On January 1, 2005, East Greenwich Township held its reorganization meeting. The minutes of this meeting will be posted, when available, on the township's official web site.

Committeemen newcomers Michelle Haenggi and Frederick Grant were sworn in to their initial three-year terms as committeemen by municipal Solicitor Thomas North during a reorganization session. Haenggi and Grant replace Democrats Edward Schmidt and George Popp. Committeeman John DeGeorge was appointed mayor, while outgoing mayor Dave Jenkins became deputy mayor.
