U P C O M I N G   E V E N T S in East Greenwich in 2010

65th Annual MICKLETON FLOWER SHOW - MAY 19, 2010, 2-6 PM
- St. Peter's Episocopal Church, Clarksboro NJ
blah The Mickleton Garden Club will host its 65th Annual Flower Show on Wednesday May 19 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 306 Kings Highway in Clarkesboro NJ. Theme this year is "A World of Flowers." Exhibits will include flower design and horticulture classes. Both club members and other amateur flower arrangers are invited to enter exhiits in the show. The entries are judged by a panel of accredited judges and ribons are awarded. In addition to the flower and plant exhibits, there will be houseplants, garden plants, raffle baskets, baked goods and other food items for sale.
     For more information, contact chariman, Mary Bennett (467-0510) or clud president Cindy Granchi (589-8969). Proceeds are used to benefit three graduating horticultural students from Bankbridge Regional School and for club activities. The flower Show will be open to the public from 2 to 6 p.m.

The GFWC Woman's Club of West Deptford meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at the West Deptford Public Library from September until June. Community Arts of East Greenwich - The Community Arts Center of East Greenwich, a nonprofit organization bringing arts to the community, offers art classes for students of all ages--including adults. Students can experience an array of artistic media while being taught by qualified community members. People For People is a non-profit organization started by Mullica Hill Rotary Club members, sponsored by The Bank and supported by the Gloucester County Times. As of January 26, 2004 People for People has collected $9,288 in both sponsorships and private donations, distributing nearly $7,000 since November 8, 2003. MILITARY OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
The South Jersey Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, formerly the Retired Officers Association, is seeking NEW members, men and women who are eligible or have been commissioned or warrant officers of the uniformed services: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Public Health Service or the National Guard or other reserve components of the services. July 10, 2003 - Municipal Annex Dedication. The township dedicated the refurbished Amos J. Peaslee Municipal Annex, headquarters of the East Greenwich Ambulance Association and Office of Emergency Management. Residents were invited to the dedication that was held from 6 to 9 pm at 21 East Cohawkin Road in Clarksboro, N.J.
